I would absolutely love something like this. My dream device would be an e-ink tablet similar to the reMarkable that you can dock in to a type-writer like dock to type longer documents. No internet connectivity except maybe file syncing. Running some linux distro.
I'm excited to see the next iteration of this to see improvements on the case which is a bit of a sore sight right now. But overally this is a really cool project.

I've been using an Alphasmart Neo 2 for digital typewriting which has been pretty fun. Its a $30 alternative to something like the Freewrite, which is several hundred.

I believe you're mistaken: the URL of the post links to the post itself, rather than (as one might assume from the slug) the series of separate posts under the tag ultimate-writer.
