Tool's new album is out on streaming platforms, so I'm hitting that tomorrow.
The past few days I've been listening to Boiler Room sets and full albums of:
SHXCXCHCXSH - Boiler Room - 1 - 2 - 3
Tim Hecker 1 - 2 - 3
Nils Frahm - Dimensions Festival set
Andy Stott - Boiler Room - 1 - 2 - 3
Been listening to Fear Inoculum by Tool since it came out. My initial thoughts, pretty straightforward Tool album. Not a whole lot of surprises. It's very groovy, lots of good jams, but overall I'd say light on the lyrical side.
That's just my first impression. Contextual note, it's usually taken me a while to digest every Tool album.
I'm 7 or 8 listens in. I'm putting it up there with Ænima and Lateralus. There isn't a single weak song on it. Pneuma and Culling Voices are the sleeper hits.
Completely met and exceeded 13 years of hype and anticipation in my opinion.
Still finishing my first listen right now. It's certainly Tool, which is all I wanted. Really enjoying it so far but, yes, like every Tool album I probably won't get an opinion I can settle on until five or six listens.
EDIT: Okay, I've listened to it four times. I really like it.
I really liked Pneuma but Invicible sounded a bit boring/generic. Some tracks feels like the drummer and the guitarist jamming together. I'm a bit disappointed by the number of "real" tracks (6) but at least they are all long. They are still above to competition though. I need to listen to it more too.
I'm almost done with the first listen. I'm enjoying what I'm hearing, but the overall feeling is "I just want to listen to more Tool," which is definitely not a bad thing.
Overall, I'm a latecomer. I didn't start listening until well after 10,000 Days came out, so I need to listen a few more times to get what's going on in Fear Inoculum.
VVNs new releases. I cant really put it into a genre but its dark and I like it.

I've gotten really into Permanent Waves by Rush lately. Freewill is such a cool song to me, lyrically. "If you choose not to decide/you still have made a choice". Different Strings is a beautiful song, and Natural Science is just fuckin' awesome.
I'm on a Bolt Thrower binge recently.
Been binging Alt-J's An Awesome Wave. Been a while since I listened to it and I forgot how much I loved it.
Not a huge fan of the 2nd album, but this first one is the gift that keeps on giving for sure. I love that sort of casual underspoken, almost lo-fi vibe they have going on
I have Marvin Gaye's 70s albums on a loop:
Incredible singer. It's a pity that music doesn't exist anymore. Having it all on a loop puts you in a fluid sort of mood; taking things not necessarily easier, but less nervously/dramatically.
And for really late at night: Prokofyev's Romeo & Juliet (especially the Knights' Dance).
I've recently discovered The Score and have loved most of their stuff.
