I've been listening to a new release from a Best Of 2015 artist in /r/listentothis (Daniel T.). It's called Heliotrope. I've listened through a few times and really enjoyed it, but his last album, Tetrachromat, was out of this world. One of my favorite electronic albums of the last few years.
My grandad always insisted that heliotrope was his favourite colour.
So much acid and by far the best discovery this week has been Tin Man's - Neo Neo Acid
so lush and warm and a great progression of the spirit of early acid house.
I've been doing the older stuff this week. Pink Floyd, Dio, Metallica, Double, Devo, Iron Maiden, and a ton of 80s Weird Al.
Medeski, Martin and Wood. Great jazz organist.
Too much of the same. Recently it's just been Motion City Soundtrack, RHCP, Incubus, and I did try out Sugar Ray's 14:59 (Surprised me with how good that album is). I've been in a bit of a musical rut lately and haven't found many artists whose discography I can eat up and enjoy entirely. Incubus's Enjoy Incubus EP was very good
