Vulfpeck! Just saw them live for the second time recently, and they are just so much fun. I really like their instrumental stuff. My favorite album of theirs is Mit Peck

Lupe's DROGAS Wave is a really solid release. Found myself putting on one song and letting the rest play through more than once this week. His other albums have been kind of plagued with feeling worthy for the sake of it, but I think Lupe finally sounds focused and grounded. Not a weak moment throughout the whole 90 minutes, although 'XO' feels a touch out of place.

iridescence has been spun a few times too. I think 'Weight' through to 'Honey' is probably their strongest work to date. Super crunchy production, and not afraid to take sharp turns even within tracks. Hope they continue to refine their sound.

Metric's Art of Doubt just came out and has been a focus for me. I don't love it yet, but I had the same lukewarm feeling about their last two albums on initial listens. I eventually warmed up to both of them months later, so I expect this one might follow the same path for me.

I was playing doom online on Saturday, and I wanted to stream All Them Witches, mostly cause they have a new album coming out, but also they are heavy and seem like they would be good to listen to while playing doom. I wasn't able to stream anything so instead I went and looked through all the records my roommates and I have. I ended up listening to Chvrches cause I bought their record but had never listened to it, but the reason I had never listened to it is because I had never played a record ever in my apartment and i spent like 5 minutes with the record in hitting the play button on the fucking turntable before I realized that i was hitting play for a cd and if I wanted to play the record I had to bring the arm all the way to the right. Anyways I'm an idiot who has been listening to Chvrches and All Them Witches.

DOOM OSTs are magical. Halo and Metroid games are the only others I've played with perfectly matched soundtracks that fit the energy/mood of the game, in my opinion.

I'm still jamming to Kamikaze, nearly every day since it came out. This album is something special, I've been re-listening to his discography and Eminem is one hell of a lyricist.

Lately, I've been listening to Johanna Kurkela, Tuuletar and Auri I kind of like the peaceful melodies and their voices.

Also listening to the latest (not yet released) Marishi Ten single, because I'm working on the art for it. It's good stuff! Crunchy as hell and Linda's voice is epic as ever.

I’ve been getting really into 90s-00s alt rock, specifically Green Day. I love pretty much every song on American Idiot and I like 21st Century Breakdown more than I thought I did. Jesus of Suburbia is probably in my top ten songs.

I’ve been listening to a lot of Jim Steinbeck stuff too, specifically Meat Loaf’s Bat out of Hell and Bonnie Tyler’s Faster Than the Speed of Night. I love Total Eclipse of the Heart, it really captures the dramatic power ballad vibe.
